I too was surprised at the service I had received, since a number of people I know purchased beautiful dresses from David's and had nothing but nice things to say about the experience. From reading what you had to say, it sounds to me like you had a "consultant" who really didn't care. The girl I had was so sweet,and she came in and helped me put the dresses on. Watching her the first time actually helped me to do it on my own at a smaller boutique I had visited. It's unfortunate that you weren't given the full experience from David's Bridal. I guess it really all depends on the person helping you. My maid of honor also found her dress there. Her consultant gave her their catalog and said "Tell me what you like. We'll get it and you can try it on." She found her dress that day. I'm not saying it will be that easy for everyone, but I do believe they can help you on your way to finding your perfect dress, even if they don't have it.
