Paper Trend - Go Custom!
You get engaged, revel in the excitement for about a day and then panic sets in! You realize quickly that there is that list of vendors you need to book fast before you and your wedding date are left in the dust. A photographer has only one slot to fill for each weekend day and the same goes for your caterer, DJ or band and of course your wedding planner. The last thing on your mind is invitations - you think to yourself “I can get those last minute…I think my friend ordered from a catalog.â€
Think of this… Your invitations or save the dates are the first thing your guests can see with regards to the big day. It is in fact the first impression they have of your day - the tone, style and emotion of it all. A creative invitation becomes a means to introduce your guests to the experience to come. It sounds like a lot, I know so who better to help with the process than a custom stationery designer?
Here is the catch though…start early, find a unique designer who is willing to work with you to create your invitations! Find someone who is flexible and willing to work within your budget. Shy away from someone who isn’t excited about your idea or has little input when you ask questions.
