As part of a 6-part series, I have asked local married women 7 questions…today’s question is:

If You Could Do It All Again, What Would You Do The Same?

D: All of the “What I Liked Best” category.

Eve: I am so glad that I spent alot of time with the grandmothers at the showers, the church and the reception. They’re gone now, but I have great photos with them. I spent far more time with family members than friends at the reception. I didn’t plan it that way, I just did. I still have the same family and the friends have since Scattered.

D’Lynn: Drink more alcohol, loosen up and enjoy it!

Jen: I would keep most of the same.

Dawn: Definitely have the live jazz band, there’s nothing like it!

Katie: Everything! I loved my wedding day and enjoyed every moment of planning it.

Kelly: Honestly, I would keep just about everything the same. When we started planning, we discussed more expensive halls with fewer guests and we talked about getting married in the 1000 Islands, but I really wanted our whole extended family there, so I think we made some really great choices. Even though it was our day, we wanted our guests to enjoy themselves too, so we made sure to have a variety of food and a variety of music. Part of what helped us enjoy the day was knowing that everyone else had a good time. I’ve been at weddings where everything was so much about the couple that they enjoyed it, but other people didn’t.
